Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Instructor to deliver music lessons (drums, guitar, keyboard) using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.

You will work to grow the student base and ensure each student experiences progress and enjoyment in music, within our culture of integrity and inclusion. Responsibilities include communicating progress to students/parents, helping with customer service, and fulfilling additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to pass Guitar Center training and certifications.
• Competency in drums, guitar or keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Communicate with students or parents on progress.
• Assist with customer service issues to maintain long-term students.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr - $16.60/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $23.60/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

As an Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

• Assist with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard)
