Responsibilities

• Review curriculum and create lesson plans.
• Facilitate classroom-based lessons for elementary through high school age range.
• Maintain student engagement and redirect disruptive behavior.
• Maintain course kits, instruments, and equipment; ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Communicate with Coordinators about materials, site specifics, and curriculum efficacy.
• Plan and deliver guitar classes focusing on chords, scales, rhythm, melody, and reading music.
• Help students develop technique and create a fun, positive learning environment.
• Provide structured warm-up and cool-down activities.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet varied abilities and experience levels.
• Prepare musical pieces for performances or showcases.
• Stay current with trends relevant to student interests.
• Encourage collaboration among students.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Keep attendance records and participate in staff meetings or training sessions.
