We are seeking a dependable and detail-orientedGuillotine Cutter Operatorto join our production team. This position plays a key role in cutting chipboard sheets to precise specifications using industrial guillotine cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or printing environment and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

  • Interpret production orders and specifications to determine required cut dimensions and production setup.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor guillotine cutting equipment tailored for chipboard processing.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw and finished products, ensuring dimensional accuracy and consistency.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize cut quality, productivity, and material yield.
  • Measure and inspect finished sheets using precision tools such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Identify and segregate defective or damaged materials for reprocessing or recycling.
  • Safely stack, label, and transport completed product to designated staging or packaging areas.
  • Monitor raw material levels and communicate shortages to supervisors.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade changes, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Consistently follow all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures, and machine guarding.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Keep the work area clean, clear of hazards, and organized in compliance with OSHA and company housekeeping standards.
  • Immediately report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or incidents to supervision.
  • At least 2 years of experience operating guillotine cutters in a commercial printing, packaging, or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision measuring tools.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
  • Dependable and team-oriented, with attention to detail and quality.
