Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a seasoned Guidewire Business Analyst to support production applications and drive functional improvements within the P&C Claims domain. You will gather requirements, write user stories, coordinate with technical and business stakeholders, and ensure thorough testing including UAT and RCA.

This role requires independence, strong communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive issues through resolution and deliver reliable production support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT or Business Analyst experience.
• 8+ years hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter experience.
• Strong P&C Insurance and Claims domain experience.
• Hands-on experience with Production Support, Incident Management, Problem Management, and RCA.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM processes.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to functional requirements.
• Experience writing User Stories and Gherkin Acceptance Criteria.
• Hands-on experience with UAT and functional testing.
• Good understanding of Guidewire APIs, integrations, application development, and microservices.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support Guidewire ClaimCenter production applications and functional improvements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional requirements.
• Develop User Stories and Gherkin-based Acceptance Criteria.
• Support Production Support, Incident Management, and Problem Management activities.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for application and production issues.
• Support ITSM processes and ensure effective issue resolution.
• Perform and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing activities.
• Work with Guidewire APIs, integrations, application development, and microservices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support application and business requirements.
• Manage stakeholder communication and drive requirements and issues through resolution.
• Work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
