Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks an experienced Business Analyst with deep P&C insurance knowledge to analyze customer needs and translate them into BRDs, use cases, and screen prototypes. You will bridge business and tech teams, lead requirement sessions, and mentor others while ensuring quality documentation and testing.

Responsibilities include stakeholder communication, RFP review for effort estimation, and producing management reports to support project decisions in a fast-paced insurance domain.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Domain Experience (in Underwriting and Claims Handling).
• 6+ years of IT Experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio).
• Experience with GW ClaimCenter and insurance domain tooling.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements through meetings, workshops, and documents analysis.
• Communicate with customers to analyze functional requirements and create BRDs with artifacts.
• Serve as liaison between business and development teams.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and mentor teammates.
• Perform functional testing based on test scenarios and cases.
• Prepare management reports and analyze proposals (RFP) for effort estimates.

Job description

• Excellent Domain knowledge on P & C Lines of Insurance including Reinsurance handling in order to analyze the business needs of the customer
• Elicitation of requirements through meetings, requirement workshops, documents analysis etc.
• Need to communicate with the customers to analyze the functional requirements and to come up with Business Requirements Documents supported by other artifacts such as Use Cases, Screen Proto Type etc.
• Strong understanding of the product associated with good analytical skills
• Preparation of requirement specifications document without any ambiguity
• Be the liaison between the business team and development team
• Ability to lead the requirements gathering sessions
• Ability to do the functional testing based on test scenarios and test cases
• Ability to function as a mentor to motivate and train other Business Analysts
• Preparation of Management Reports
• Should be able to analyze the proposal (RFP) and to come up with appropriate effort estimation in coordination with other team members

Required Experience

• 10 + years of Domain Experience (in Underwriting and Claims Handling)
