Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks a Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineer (mid-level or lead) to own the GNC subsystem for satellite programs. You’ll lead design, analysis, software, and integration, acting as REA for delivery and mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) Engineering Team delivers the GNC subsystem for a program and/or constellation. This includes subsystem/system level analysis to ensure requirements compliance, sensor and actuator selection, and Flight Control Software (FCSW) development and verification. Engineers in the GNC group are integral throughout the entire program lifecycle, providing mission and system design inputs, critical analysis products, software/algorithm development, support to satellite integration and test (I&T), and on-console support for on-orbit operations. As a Lead/Senior GNC Engineer, you will be the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for delivery of the GNC subsystem. You may be the REA for a single program, or oversee a portfolio of programs as the GNC focal. You will be a technical leader, decomposing complex work, interfacing across engineering and manufacturing teams, reporting up the program/functional management chains, and providing guidance and mentorship to others on the team. This position’s internal job code is Guidance, Nav & Controls Engr. Our team is currently hiring for level 3/4.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret security clearance is required post start. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
