Hotel Equities is hiring a Houseperson to support housekeeping operations and guest satisfaction. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and assisting with deep cleaning while adhering to safety and brand standards.

You're expected to be detail-oriented, reliable, and flexible, with strong guest-service skills. Team collaboration, adherence to schedules, and professional conduct are essential in this busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and courteous guest-service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish supplies, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and special housekeeping needs.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly and according to company procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas in an organized condition.
• Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned.
• Communicate room status and maintenance needs to appropriate hotel departments.
• Support the team in meeting productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
