Job summary

Tommy Bahama Miramonte is seeking a Self-Inspecting Room Attendant to clean guest rooms according to the hotel’s standards and to report any maintenance needs or guest requests. The role emphasizes confidentiality and security of rooms as well as thorough cleaning responsibilities.

The position requires the ability to lift and move heavy items, work efficiently, and maintain guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous service in a desert-island themed setting.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly with guests, coworkers and management.
• Must be able to perform self-inspections and adhere to standards.
• Must be able to operate resort systems such as Alice and radios.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy and courtesy are essential.
• Physical stamina to clean multiple rooms per shift (approx. 14 check-outs, 30 light service rooms).

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to hotel standards.
• Report maintenance issues and guest requests.
• Transport supplies and linens; restock carts.
• Clean bathrooms, make beds and reset rooms.
• Inspect rooms for damage and ensure safety and security practices.
• Handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Update room status in Alice and close out shifts.
