Navy Exchange in Norfolk, VA, is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Attendant to uphold cleanliness in Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and Navy Lodge properties. You will clean guest rooms, public spaces, laundry areas, and storage spaces, using vacuum, carpet cleaners, waxers, and polishers.

You will also handle linen turnover, safety, and guest interactions. The role requires physical work, attention to detail, and adherence to NHG protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required for this role.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Cleans guest rooms and assigned areas.Operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, waxers and polishers.
• Dusts, polishes, disinfects, and maintains cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
• Replaces bed linens, inspects mattresses, and ensures guest room readiness.
• Assists with breakfast setup and maintains storage areas and housekeeping supply rooms.
• Reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly.
