Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

An international, top Am Law 50 firm seeks to welcome a Guest Services Manager to their NYC office.

Schedule: 5 days per week in office

Salary: up to $135k, bonus eligible

Location: Midtown

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years prior work experience in a similar role; law firm, hospitality, or corporate background
  • Present overall professional appearance and attitude always.

The Manager, Guest Services ensures an exceptional front of office experience for every visitor. An additional focus of this role includes the planning and execution of local office meetings and events through effective project management. This highly client-facing role requires an engaging, cheerful, helpful, resourceful, and confident demeanor while ensuring the quality and efficiency of the lobby and reception area, and in producing high caliber internal office events.

Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all clients, visitors, and employees, maintaining a professional image and providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service, and support.

In this capacity, the Manager, Guest Services will:

  • Provide 5-star customer service to clients, visitors, and internal personnel in all forms of communication;
  • Professionally greet and welcome all visitors and personnel entering the office;
  • Receive and catalog guest information, inform appropriate personnel that their guest has arrived, and/or provide escort to reserved meeting rooms;
  • Maintain building security by receiving guests and alerting associated client host, coordinating with building security when necessary, and assigning appropriate access to internal work areas if required;
  • Collaborate with local Facilities team to investigate issues related to building access cards, turnstile, and traffic flow;
  • Field questions about cloak room and storage, Administrative and Office Services support, and other common inquiries;
  • Direct appropriate requests to building maintenance, office administration teams or departments;
  • Collaborate with management team on the creation and implementation of front of house and event planning best practices, including documentation;
  • Collaborate with other team members who support the front of office experience and cross-train staff and back-up on standard operating procedures and best practices;
  • Arrange car/limo services when requested;
  • Assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations;
  • Provide directions to nearby attractions, restaurants, airports, etc.;
  • Ensure efficient management of temporary building key cards and collection;
  • Request maintenance service when required;
  • Ensure reception area is always clean, pleasant, and comfortable;
  • Direct package deliveries to designated receiving area;
  • Build professional relationships with customers and other teams;
  • Maintain professionalism and composure when interacting with all visitors and personnel;
  • Determine what additional support is needed when handling sensitive inquiries.
