Responsibilities

• Identify items and cost; tabulate bills quickly and accurately using cash register or calculator.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers accurately.
• Maintain cash register and contents.
• Turn in cash drawer and sales reconciliation at shift end.
• Smile and greet customers; answer questions; provide information on products, promotions, and policies.
• Thank each customer.
• Maintain clean and orderly cash station area and stock sale items.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the retail operation.
• Report safety issues to management.
