Job summary

Hardee's is seeking a Guest Service Team Member to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will take orders, operate the POS, prepare guest orders, maintain a clean dining area, and work with teammates to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

The role emphasizes smiling greetings, menu knowledge, accurate transactions, timely delivery of orders, and strict sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile and acknowledge them promptly upon arrival.
• Take customer orders quickly and accurately using the POS system.
• Provide helpful menu information and answer questions about products and specials.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to recommend menu items, beverages, or add-ons that enhance the guest’s meal.
• Thank guests sincerely for their visit and invite them to return.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately to ensure correct food preparation.
• Accept cash or other payment methods and provide accurate change.
• Maintain attention to detail when handling transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Assemble guest orders carefully, ensuring all food items, condiments, and requested service items are included.
• Verify that every order meets quality standards before it is served to the guest.
• Deliver orders in a timely manner while meeting designated service time goals.
• Keep the sales and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
• Clean and restock the beverage station, including cups, lids, ice, and drink supplies.
• Wipe down dining room tables and seating areas to maintain a comfortable space for guests.
• Clean and restock restrooms regularly to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Sweep and mop dining room and restroom floors frequently and respond quickly to spills or messes.
• Assist other team members with tasks during busy periods to ensure smooth service.
• Restock supplies, condiments, and service items as needed throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with management and coworkers to maintain efficient operations.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, and respectful relationship with management and fellow team members.
• Follow company dress code and grooming standards to present a professional appearance.
• Adhere to all sanitation, food safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Help maintain a safe environment for guests and employees at all times.
