Job summary

Busch’s Fresh Market in Brighton, MI is seeking a Guest Service Manager Assistant to join our family-owned Michigan team. This full-time, on-site role puts you in charge of guest service operations, modeling hospitality and guiding associates to deliver top-notch service.

Starting wage up to $19.20/hr with experience, with benefits including 401K with company match and Daily Pay. You will lead guest service activities, ensure policy compliance, train staff, and help meet service and labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to plan and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of guest service operations as person in charge.
• Exemplify hospitality when interacting with guests, colleagues, and the community.
• Ensure compliance with check cashing, refunds, store charges, and related policies.
• Ensure compliance on WIC, EBT, alcohol, and tobacco purchases.
• Assist guests with questions, purchases, and special orders.
• Assist associates in achieving service and labor objectives as directed by GSM.
• Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness of service areas.
• Provide input on associate performance and department conditions.
• Deliver clear expectations and follow-through in GSM’s absence.
• Assist in training and development of associates.

Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Proficient leadership skills.
• Proficient organization and planning skills, especially to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.
