Job summary

Union Joints in Detroit is seeking a friendly cashier to maintain guest service standards, ring up sales, stock merchandise, and assist with merchandising and housekeeping. You will follow store policies, handle cash and POS transactions accurately, and support loss prevention while ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest.

The role requires basic knowledge of POS systems and the ability to communicate guest needs to management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years prior cashier experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding guest service by greeting and assisting guests and maintaining high service standards.
• Accurately and efficiently completing sales transactions and handling cash and POS transactions.
• Processing and replenishing merchandise; assisting in receiving and stocking floor stock; maintaining store cleanliness and merchandising.
• Adhering to company policies, pricing, and loss prevention procedures.
• Communicating guest requests to management and performing other duties as assigned.
