Job summary

Currahee Golf Club, part of Troon, is seeking a motivated Full-Time Guest Service Attendant in Toccoa, GA. The role focuses on delivering a positive guest experience, assisting with outside services, and supporting golf-related activities in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Compensation is $12.00 per hour. Minimum qualifications include 1 month of related experience and customer service experience; golf club experience is preferred. Regular attendance required.

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Currahee Golf Club, located in Toccoa, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Guest Service Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $12.00 per hour

General Purpose:

Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with outside services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Assists in educating players regarding the game.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hear.
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly works in wet or humid condition (non-weather).
• Occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts; may come into contact with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
