Job summary

Grand Elk Golf Club in Granby, CO is seeking a seasonal part-time Guest Service Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient service to guests and members.

As part of Troon, you will assist with bag handling, club cleaning, start of play, rentals, and light food and beverage tasks, with a six-month duration.

• Cleans rental clubs and assists with food and beverage activities as needed.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Grand Elk Golf Club, located in Granby, CO is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Guest Service Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $15.16 per hour

General Purpose

Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with outside services. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Assists in educating players regarding the game.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• One-month related experience or training.

• Regular and reliable attendance.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hear.
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise

• Regularly works in wet or humid condition (non-weather).
• Occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts; may come into contact with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
