Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store-level tasks. You’ll greet guests, operate the point of sale, maintain cash controls, and ensure shelves are stocked while following safety and security guidelines.

We value reliability, teamwork, and flexibility to work day, night, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with basic computer functions and reliable transportation are required to join our team in this location.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Follow safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping and stocking tasks.
• Communicate guest requests to store management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Flexibility to work day, night, weekends, or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler).
• Able to climb stairs, lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Access all store areas including sales floor and register.
• Count, read, and write accurately for paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training for new hires.

Job Description

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.94 - $19.94 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
