Job summary

European Wax Center in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a part-time/full-time Guest Service/Sales Associate to greet guests, understand skincare goals, and explain wax pass options and promotions. You will upsell our retail line and maintain a welcoming front desk while delivering upbeat, customer-focused service.

You will participate in ongoing training, uphold brand standards, and contribute to a positive team environment as you help guests choose the right services and products.

Qualifications

• One year of related service or retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively educate guests on wax pass options, promotions, benefits of waxing, and prebooking; knowledge of all EWC offerings.
• Upholds Artemis Wax standards and protocols; address guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain an organized front desk and lobby area in line with brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on brand knowledge and sales techniques.

Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
• Engage guests in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Proactively educate guests on all of our wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of waxing regularly and prebooking. Being knowledgeable on all aspects of EWC including our retail line.
• Upholds Artemis Wax standards and protocols at all times. Addresses guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized and inviting front desk & lobby area, upholding the brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay on top of brand knowledge and sales techniques.

Work Environment

• Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in activity frequently as the business requires.
• Most work performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled.
• Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day. Standing, walking, and sitting are required. Length of time at these tasks varies from day to day.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co-workers, and management.
