Responsibilities include handling payments, balancing cash drawers, coordinating with the sales center, and resolving issues promptly while maintaining safety and compliance across hotel operations.

Welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner at the Lodge front desk. Assist with check-ins, handle payments, respond to inquiries, and create a service environment focused on the guest with a passion for high standards in customer service.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Ascertain purchasing needs and assist customers in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner
• Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments and make change for cash customers
• Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording customer information and operating credit card authorization systems
• Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift
• Monitor lobby and work area to determine customer flow
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Facilitate correspondence with customers
• Act as the site liaison for the services and sales center
• Create a service environment focused on the guest with a passion for high standards in customer service
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and develop alternative solutions
• Know all essential aspects of business operations
• Follow all compliance standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
• Practice safety throughout the work shift by removing/correcting and identifying hazards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Prior industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software a plus
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Team player attitude
• Professionalism and thoroughness

Physical Requirements

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
