Job summary

EWC Growth LLC is seeking a Guest Service Associate to create an exceptional guest experience while achieving sales goals. You will educate guests on products, complete transactions, and support management with daily admin tasks in a fast-paced retail waxing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in customer service, with strong communication and organizational skills. Competitive hourly pay plus commissions and benefits are offered, with flexible hours

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Upsell and cross-sell retail products and waxing services.
• Educate guests on benefits and savings of Wax Passes.
• Provide exceptional guest experience using EWC terminology and scripts.
• Confirm services and offer related add-ons.
• Process check-ins/outs, payments, refunds and reservations.
• Explain pre-booking benefits and app rescheduling.
• Organize reservations based on guest requests and staff availability.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the center.
• Maintain a clean, safe and visually appealing lobby and restrooms.

Job description

The primary responsibility of a Guest Service Associate (GSA) is creating an exceptional guest experience while achieving sales goals and assisting management with daily administrative tasks. This individual must have a willingness to initiate genuine conversation & connection while educating guests on product + service recommendations. Some essential functions, behaviors, and expectations include:

• Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products
• Upsell and cross-sell retail products & various waxing services
• Educate guests on benefits and savings of Wax Passes
• Arrive to work timely following the appropriate dress code, including wearing of the required name tag
• Create a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the location
• Confirm each guest service(s) and offer recommended/related add on service(s)
• Administer check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, refunds and reservation requests
• Inform the guest of the pre-booking benefits and how to utilize the app to reschedule
• Organize the reservation book based on guest requests and associate availability
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the center
• Maintain a safe, sparkling clean, organized and visually pleasant environment within lobby and restrooms

• 2+ years customer service experience or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment

Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is performed sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer, with times of prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling. The associate must lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.

• $17.00 per hour (determined based on experience) + up to $1,600 in annual commissions
