Job summary

ARK Hospitality is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain guest room cleanliness and overall hotel presentation. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and reporting maintenance needs as necessary.

The ideal candidate is organized, a team player, and has strong time management and communication skills with at least 1 year of experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred.
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Document rooms cleaned and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed.
• Answer general questions from guests.
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel standards before guests arrive.
• Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies.
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed.
