Job summary

Boutique Hotels Inc. is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Attendant to clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to high standards. You will restock supplies, maintain carts, and ensure guest satisfaction while maximizing revenues.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays, and clear communication with guests and staff. Join our team to contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for every guest.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning principles and cleaning products.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and use cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective communication with guests and associates.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for the hotel guests, associates and vendors.
• Sets up cleaning cart with supplies and maintains carts and storerooms.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways.
• Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets and stall walls, and wipes mirrors, sinks and walls to ensure sanitary restrooms.
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature removed by previous guest.
• Washes all hard floor areas to remove dirt.
• Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings.
• Strips bed of all linens and remakes with fresh linens.
• Checks closet for cleanliness and restocks supplies.
• Vacuums rooms, public areas, and hallways.
• Inspects door and window locks and alerts management to any unsecured or unsafe situation.
• Checks lights and remotes to ensure they are in working order.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
