Job summary

Navy Exchange Norfolk seeks a Housekeeping Attendant to perform comprehensive housekeeping services across guest rooms, public spaces, and related areas. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, stocking amenities, and maintaining guest room readiness with attention to detail and guest privacy.

The role requires no prior experience; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Training on safety and NHG standards will be provided to ensure consistent service quality.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms and other assigned areas using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, waxers, and polishers.
• Vacuum, dust, wash, disinfect, and deodorize rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Replace bed linens, inspect mattresses, and ensure amenities are stocked.
• Greet and welcome guests, maintain privacy and security, and report issues to supervision.
• Assist with breakfast setup and self-service area cleaning as needed.
