Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms in accordance with company standards. This role supports the property 24/7 with shift variations and ensures safety procedures are followed.

You will stock supplies, knock before entry, complete room checklists, and report damages or hazards. The position offers a $20/hour pay rate and a benefits package including health and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathroom.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
• Observe knocking procedures upon entering a guest room.
• Clean the guest rooms assigned. Ensure amenities are stocked for each cleaned room. Complete entire housekeeping checklist.
• Accurately marks clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Report damages or hazards present in guest rooms.
• Secure guest room doors upon exiting the room.
• Keep corridors and service area neat at all times.
• Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Follow safety and security procedures and rules.
• Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Utilize protective equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to management.
• Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance per handbook.
• Perform related duties as requested by management.
• Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed.
