TheHome2 Suites at White Sands National Park is hiring a Room Attendant to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor. The role involves stocking supplies, greeting guests, and ensuring sanitation per hotel standards.

Must follow verbal directions and have knowledge of cleaning procedures. Positive representation of the hotel is expected, with growth opportunities across New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Maintains the highest standards for cleanliness and sanitation in each guest room.
• Reports to Housekeeping Supervisor/Executive Housekeeper.
• Requires ability to follow verbal directions.
• Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies.
• Always represents the hotel in a positive manner; SMILE.

Responsibilities

• Check housekeeping cart for supplies and stock as needed.
• Greet guests with friendly, sincere acknowledgement.
• Strip dirty linens/towels and remove amenities.
• Clean rooms/suites: make beds, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, wash windows/tracks.
• Report maintenance deficiencies to maintain rooms to hotel standards.
• Replenish linen and guest amenities.
• Clean balconies, if applicable.
• Respond to special guest requests (extra amenities or service).
• Follow verbal directions.
• Know cleaning procedures and supplies.
• Always represent the hotel in a positive manner; SMILE.
