Job summary

Hyatt House San Jose/Silicon Valley is hiring a Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms meet Hyatt's cleanliness standards. You will clean, restock, and present rooms with attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment.

This hourly role offers starting pay at $19 per hour and benefits such as medical/dental, 401K, paid vacation, and employee discounts. Flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms daily to Hyatt standards.
• Restock linens, amenities, and supplies; maintain par levels.
• Provide courteous, professional interactions with guests and respect privacy.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping tasks as needed.
