Job summary

Palms Casino Resort is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team. This role involves cleaning up to 15 guest rooms per day, making beds, restocking supplies, and ensuring spotless guestrooms with privacy and security for guests.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year in a guest room attendant role and strong customer service skills. The position requires teamwork, professional appearance, and reliable attendance, with shifts and uniform compliance expected.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year previous experience as a guest room attendant is preferred.
• Minimum one-year customer service experience preferred with ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to all guests every time is required.
• Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work well as a team.
• Must always conduct self in a professional manner.
• Must be able to meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Must be dressed in issued uniform and present a contemporary professional image.

Responsibilities

• Clean beds, change bed linens, replace towels and toiletries, dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize bathrooms and kitchenette areas.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and complete special projects as assigned by supervisor/management.
• Provide courteous, hospitable service and knowledge of hotel operations to guests.
• Report damages, maintenance needs, and lost & found items to supervisor.
• Ensure security and privacy of guest rooms; work at a high-rise property.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
