Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha-Downtown seeks a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to the hotel’s standards. You will perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, linen changes and towel replenishment to ensure guest rooms are welcoming and comfortable.

English communication is required; the role demands physical stamina and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms within standards and allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust surfaces.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective gear per MSDS/OSHA.
