Job summary

The ONIX Group’s hospitality division is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms in line with brand standards and property requirements.

The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented, with prior hotel experience preferred. You will perform bed-making, cleaning, stock amenities, and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Hardworking and detail-oriented individuals are sought.
• Previous hotel-related experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen as required and make bed(s).
• Vacuum carpeting, mop/clean bathroom floor.
• Dust all furniture (frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).
• Remove fingerprints and smudges (mirrors, windows, etc.).
• Thoroughly clean the bathroom area (shower, sink, floor, toilet).
• Remove and replace all used amenities; empty trash receptacles.
• Report maintenance issues found in guest room.
• Report missing items in room; notify Director of Housekeeping & Laundry for roll-aways or cribs.
• Turn in all lost and found items to the Director of Housekeeping & Laundry daily.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean cart; dispose of dirty linen and trash properly.
• Assist Director of Housekeeping in any additional cleaning chores.
• Be familiar with Emergency Procedures.
