Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin Georgetown is seeking a House Person to clean, restock, and maintain guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards. You will prioritize rooms, check supplies, and ensure privacy when interacting with guests.

Daily duties include making beds, restocking towels and toiletries, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and reporting maintenance needs. You will work a rotation including weekends and some afternoons, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way.
• Ability to read and follow hotel policies and checklists.

Responsibilities

• Receives list of assigned rooms and prioritizes early-cleaning requests.
• Checks cleaning cart inventory and supplies as needed.
• Knocks and announces self before entering rooms and revisits later if occupied.
• Removes soiled linens and provides fresh replacements.
• Makes beds and restocks towels and toiletries according to policy.
• Cleans bathrooms and kitchenette areas per hotel policy.
• Wipes surfaces, cleans mirrors, and vacuums floors.
• Restocks coffee, snacks, and amenities per checklist.
• Performs room final walkaround to meet standards.
• Notifies supervisor of room availability and reports maintenance or suspicious activity.
• Launders soiled linens and handles laundry as required.
• Takes found items to lost and found as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
