Job summary

ARK is seeking a dedicated housekeeper in Cheyenne, WY to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, bed-making, and reporting maintenance needs, while delivering excellent guest service.

The ideal candidate is organized, a team player, and has a good understanding of cleaning techniques; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred.
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay.
• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby.
• Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival.
• Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed.
• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
