Job summary

LUMA Hotel San Francisco is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and respond to guest requests as part of our modern, energetic lifestyle property.

You will perform housekeeping tasks, stock supplies, and cooperate with teammates to deliver outstanding service in the Mission Bay location. Previous hotel experience is preferred, and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous guest room attendant experience in a full-service hotel or similar is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to collaborate within a diverse team.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including beds, bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks when required.
• Stock and transport housekeeping supplies and maintain the cart daily.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly manner.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Other housekeeping duties as assigned.

THE ROLE

TheRoom Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
• Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Other housekeeping duties as assigned.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Previous guest room attendant in a full service hotel or similar job experience preferred.
• Individuals with passion for customer service andable to work with others seamlessly. This means having no problem collaborating within a diverse team.
• Dynamic and working calmly under pressure.
• Ability to be carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
• Flexibilityto accommodate varying schedules includingweekends and holidays.
