Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a remarkable Housekeeper for the Courtyard Denver Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. Clean guest rooms and public areas to established standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenues with warm, knowledgeable service.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, and assisting with laundry. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work flexible hours, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Vision to detect minute debris in poorly lit areas and read instructions or reports.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during an 8-hour shift.
• Dexterity to push, pull and move equipment and furniture throughout the shift.
• Arms raised above head for extended periods and maneuvering a fully loaded maid cart.
• Familiar with basic residential cleaning equipment and exposure to chemicals.
• Be able to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety procedures.
• Have a passion for people, good communication, and the ability to log issues clearly, with flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public areas to established cleanliness standards.
• Restock towels, amenities, literature and inspect room status and maintenance needs.
• Vacuum rooms and corridors, clean restrooms and wipe surfaces.
• Assist laundry by handling soiled linen and distributing clean linen.
• Provide friendly service and support other departments to boost overall hotel performance.
