Job summary

U.S. Coast Guard Community Services Command is seeking a Guest House Attendant for the Cape Cod location in Buzzards Bay, MA. This full-time role (30–40 hours/week) focuses on cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to maintain high standards of cleanliness for the facility and guests.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, updating room status, and adhering to safety procedures. Prior experience is not required, but the position demands physical stamina and the ability

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must stand, stoop, and reach for long periods.
• Must be able to work irregular shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean lodging guest rooms, corridors, stairways, facilities, and other assigned lodging areas.
• Clean public areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
• Update room status, occupancy, and checkouts.
• Stock cleaning materials and equipment; report needs to supervisor.
• Install cribs/roll-a-ways in guestrooms as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and use proper safety equipment.
