Job summary

Town Pump, Inc. is seeking a motivated Store Clerk to join our Montana team in Billings. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, handling cash, stocking merchandise, and keeping the store clean and safe.

You will operate a computerized cash register, assist with deli duties in smaller locations, manage shop safety, and support management with daily procedures. Town Pump offers strong benefits including 401(k), health, dental and vision insurance, HSA and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Able to operate a computerized cash register and handle money accurately.
• Willing to perform deli duties and maintain clean, safe areas.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and handle cash, pricing, stocking, and merchandising.
• Operate a computerized cash register, give correct change, scan cards, accept checks, and bag merchandise.
• Greet customers, screen calls, deter shoplifting, and respond to complaints.
• Stock shelves, keep the store clean, complete vendor checks, and follow store procedures.
• Sweep parking lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps, and maintain service areas.
• Keep deli equipment areas clean and stocked, perform deli duties as needed.
