Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You’ll help keep our stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly, with flexible part-time or full-time options.

You’ll provide friendly service at the register, suggest add-ons, and assist in inventory and maintenance. Training and growth opportunities accompany a dynamic work environment in our locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May need to obtain food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow safety regulations.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment inside and out.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking.
