Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to greet guests, stock shelves, ring up purchases, and keep the store clean and organized. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with flexible shifts and opportunities for growth.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED (or in progress), enjoy helping customers, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is a plus, and training is provided to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a great guest experience.
• Operate the cash register with accuracy and handle payments.
• Respond to guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Inform guests about promotional food items to drive engagement.
