Job summary

Kalaka-Mexican-Kitchen is seeking a friendly Server to join our Front of House team. You will provide excellent guest service, take and enter orders, and help create a welcoming dining experience for every guest.

The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to support smooth operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or customer-service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials.
• Make recommendations and accommodate reasonable guest requests.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Monitor tables throughout the dining experience and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies.
