Job summary

United Service Companies is seeking a part-time Security Officer for a high-profile hotel in Chicago, IL. You will maintain a polished appearance, deliver professional guest service, and ensure a safe, secure environment while representing our brand to guests and staff.

This role requires hospitality experience, a valid PERC card, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Weekend availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• PERC Card required (No Exceptions).
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
• Prior Customer Service and Hospitality experience.
• Some Weekend Availability - 2nd shift and 3rd shift.
• Have a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional environment and provide needed services for guests
• Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining hospitality and interpersonal skills
• Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the establishment
• Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
