Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Security Officer in Las Vegas to ensure guest and team member safety while delivering exceptional service. You will patrol the property, handle incidents, and assist guests with information about facilities and dining options.

The position emphasizes a friendly, professional presence, readiness for emergencies, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of guest services experience in a resort setting.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn, apply defensive tactics and report writing skills.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and protection for guests, employees, and company property
• Uphold law and order at conventions in coordination with local law enforcement
• Act as a First Responder in emergency situations
• Escort and assist employees involved in cash control following established procedures
• Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about facilities, attractions, shops, and food and beverage locations
