Shamin Hotels in Sandston, VA is seeking an entry-level Laundry Attendant for a flexible full-time/part-time position. You will sort, wash, fold, and iron linens and ensure clean, orderly laundry operations across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Laundry attendant experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Experience with hotel brand systems preferred.

• Prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and add detergent and cleaning agents.
• Operate washer and automatic rinse cycles.
• Transfer washed items to wringers and dryers for timed cycles.
• Sort dried articles by identification number or type.
• Fold and store items in proper bins.
• Iron linen and ensure neat presentation.
• Lubricate machines as needed with grease and oil.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Follow safety data sheet regulations when handling chemicals.
• Report to work on schedule, in uniform per policy.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
