Job summary

The Hoppy Gnome in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a diligent food service team member to help ensure dishes are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to guests. You will read server chits, assist in running food orders, and maintain a clean work area during your shift.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 yrs of age or older.
• Valid food worker card required.
• Prefer a minimun of one year of previous food service experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Must havae a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assists in making sure dishes are prepared accurately according to server chit
• Readies each order as pertaining to the server chit for delivery to guest
• Assists in running food orders to tables when needed
• Keeps work area neat and clean
• Communicates with Chef/Kitchen Manager during the shift if any problems arise
