Job summary

Residence Inn Plano Richardson is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean guest rooms, hallways and public areas to a high standard. You will stock supplies, attend briefings, and assist with anyGuest services to ensure a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include pre-cleaning, restocking rooms, and handling additional cleaning projects as needed, while maintaining safety and organization across front and back-of-house spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, Conflict Resolution: Effective listening and resolving issues with guests and coworkers.
• Communication Skills: Clear conveyance of information to guests and team.
• Hospitality and Guest Service: Desire to serve all guests.
• Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older to perform this job.
• Schedule and Travel: Varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clock-in/Out: Timely clock in/out; never work off the clock.
• Breaks: Clock in/out for breaks as scheduled.
• Call Outs: Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a shift.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Cleaning and Stocking: Stock supplies on work cart and attend stand-up meeting.
• Clean and Stock Rooms: Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift.
• Additional Cleaning Projects: Handle storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep cleaning as needed.
