Job summary

Target is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert to help create an Easy, Inspiring, and friendly guest experience in our store. You will greet guests, assist with product finds, and ensure a smooth shopping experience while maintaining Food & Beverage standards.

The role requires 18+ years or older, previous food or grocery experience is a plus, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

• Greet guests and provide assistance to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, prioritizing guest needs over tasks
• Follow all Food & Beverage standards and food safety requirements
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
