Job summary

Aramark is hiring a friendly cashier to greet guests, process transactions, and keep operations running smoothly at our location in Lexington, Mississippi. You’ll handle cash and card payments, balance cash drawers, and provide outstanding customer service throughout each shift.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, stocking items, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Balance cash drawer, fill cashier slip and deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at shift end.
• Ensure stock levels and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
