Job summary

SSP America in Appleton, WI is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet guests, take orders, and enter them into the POS system. You will handle payments, provide accurate change, and keep the area clean and organized.

Responsibilities include completing opening, ongoing, and closing checklists, maintaining health standards, and performing other duties as assigned. A minimum of one year in food service/retail and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in food service/retail is essential.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication is essential.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and reconciliations.
• Food handlers permit and brand certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and provide correct change.
• Maintain setup, routine maintenance, cleaning, and break-down of equipment.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Return used items to proper places; clean and organize work and storage areas.
• Perform general cleaning tasks in adherence to health standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
