Job summary

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Food Server to help maintain dining room cleanliness, support guest service, and assist Captains and management in delivering a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowledge of menu items and beverages, bussing and resetting tables, and coordinating turnover with staff. Requires 3 years restaurant experience, HS diploma, and ability to lift and move items; 21+ age and health/alcohol cards preferred.

Qualifications

• One (3) year of experience in a restaurant as a Food server assistant or Busser.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly in a warm, friendly manner.
• Know menu items, wines, beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
• Work with Captains to ensure proper guest service.
• Assist in Beverage Bar service delivery as needed.
• Polish silverware and set tables with linens and glassware.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Coordinate table availability with Captain, Hostess, and Management to optimize turnover.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks and refill as needed.
• Buss tables within two minutes of becoming vacant and finish within five minutes.
