The Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center, operated by Witham Family Hotels, seeks a Server/Bartender for a full-time, year-round role in Bar Harbor, ME. You will provide table service and craft beverages, delivering memorable guest experiences for hotel guests and locals alike.

Qualifications

• Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairings is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid alcohol service certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room and bar areas.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Assist with opening and closing side work as needed.
