Panera Bread is hiring a Restaurant Team Member in Virginia Beach to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warmth and great food to every guest interaction. You’ll help with production, prep, service, cashier duties, and maintaining a clean dining environment while supporting the team.

The role emphasizes engaging guests, handling fresh ingredients, and contributing to a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment with opportunities to connect with local communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication in a loud environment with guests, managers, and team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating moments of comfort and joy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Card as required by law. Food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and accuracy.
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following food safety standards.
• Support team by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
• Adapt to daily priorities and changes with a positive attitude.
