Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a Bartender to deliver extraordinary guest experiences with courteous service and professional demeanor. Prepare beverages to specification and maintain a well-run bar during shifts, while staying quick on your feet with an engaging attitude.

Key duties include suggesting beverages, stocking, and accurate cash handling. Must be 21+ and able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Opportunities for advancement and generous employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience in a hotel or related setting.
• Record of delivering exceptional guest experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
• Team Player with a guest first attitude.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Discover guest needs and suggests beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goals
• Be the master of the bar, understanding all aspects to promote a well-run shift by proper preparation
• Maintain par levels of all stock and supplies, garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, barware, etc.
• Responsible for keeping an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policies
